Everything About Corona. Symptoms, Preventions And Cure.
What is CORONA VIRUS?
Coronavirus is an infectious disease that canoccur in humans and animals. It belongs to a family of viruses whose infection can cause serious problems ranging from common cold-cold to shortness of breath.
COVID-19 is the official name for coronavirus. This name was given by the World Health Organization.
Symptoms of COVID-19:-
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, fatigue, and dry cough. Some patients may have problems like runny nose, sore throat and shortness of breath. What can we do to save and prevent the spread of disease?
1.Wash your hands regularly with soap and water.
2.Keep a distance of at least three feet from the person who is coughing or sneezing.
3.Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
4.Make sure that you and the people around you follow good respiratory hygiene.
5.This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or handkerchief when coughing or sneezing.
6.Then immediately throw away the used handkerchief. Apart from this, you can also use masks and advise others to do the same. If you are sick with COVID-19 symptoms (especially cough) or are caring for someone who is suffering from COVID-19, then wear a mask. Disposable face masks can only be used once. There is no need to wear a mask if you are not ill or in contact with someone who has a cough or a cold.
Some useful tips regarding masks:-
Clean the hands with soap and water before touching the mask. Then take the mask and make sure that it is straight or not. Then take the mask near your mouth and nose and apply the bandage on both the sides to both your ears. After this, whenever you remove the mask, put it in dustbin and also wash hands thoroughly with soap before touching the eyes, nose and mouth. How it is spread?
It can spread from person to person. If a person suffering from COVID-19 coughs or exhales, small droplets from their nose or mouth descend on surrounding objects and surfaces. When people touch these objects or surfaces and then touch their eyes, nose or mouth, this infection can spread in them as well. The disease caused by COVID-19 infection is generally mild, especially for children and adults. However, it can cause serious illness. One out of every five people who fall prey to it needs hospital care.
It is not certain how long the virus of COVID-19 survives on surfaces, but it behaves like other viruses. Studies suggest that coronavirus (COVID-19) can persist on surfaces for a few hours or several days. It can vary under different conditions (eg surface, temperature or humidity of the atmosphere).
Who is at risk of developing the disease?
Can not say it clearly, but according to the research so far, COVID-19 elderly and people struggling with high blood pressure, heart disease, lung disease, cancer or diabetes are at risk of catching more serious illness than others. No vaccine or medicine has yet been developed to prevent COVID-2019 or to treat the infected person, but the treatment is being found.
How long is the incubation period for COVID-19?
The 'incubation period' means the time between catching the virus and the onset of symptoms of the disease. Most estimates of the incubation period of COVID-19 range from 1–14 days, typically around five days. The rest are still under research.*Social distancing is one of the last key to unlock the spreading lock of the COVID-19 .
Please stay safe and stay at home.
In any case, if you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, consult a doctor to reduce the risk of developing a more serious infection, as well as information about your recent visit.
